Not being able to maximize Ledger Live

Post by theheerenhouse »

I have a desktop and a laptop running on Linux Mint.
I have installed Ledger Live on the desktop and it runs perfect.
Now I have installed the same program on the laptop and although runs it is missing the 'maximize'' button in the right top corner.
Ledger Live on my desktop has minimize, maximize and close. On the laptop only minimize and close. (see attached screenshot)
This is creating a problem because the 'connect ledger' button remains invisible at the bottom.
I have addressed this at the Ledger support but after several days and several suggestions this is going nowhere. (already categorized as an 'unusual case').

It seems to me that this is a problem caused by the laptop.
Does anyone have a suggestion what the cause could be?
Highly appreciated. Thanks.
