Is Resilio sync installed?

Post by mcleaver »

Hi
I sent myself a link to sync my docs folder. It should have installed Resilio Sync and then opened it to set up the sync, but I can´t find the app and nothing is syncing?

Don't quite see how "a link to sync my docs folder" is going to install anything.

There are instructions on how to install it here from a .deb file: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/artic ... e-on-Linux

You want the x64 .deb unless you're running 32 bit Mint, and as always if installing it wants to remove/replace anything, stop.

Thanks Rob.
My home machine makes an email with a link to a) install RS if it isn't and b) add the docs folder to sync. The link doesn't work to install Resilio, but I managed to install it using the link you also quote. (If I reinstall it says it is already installed.) But there is no visible sync program and the docs folder doesn't get synced.

You want to sync your docs folder with what?

Is there any interest in telling us your problem and perhaps we come up with a solution that does not involve Resilio? If not, I'm thinking the directions provided describe how to use Resilio, but I could be wrong.
