Cannot agree to license in Java 17 installer through terminal

Post by Crete_Knight »

While installing Java 17 through the terminal, this screen popped up.

Code: Select all

Oracle No-Fee Terms and Conditions (NFTC)
 │
 │
 │
│ You MUST agree to the license available in
 │ https://www.oracle.com/downloads/licenses/no-fee-license.html if you
│ want to download and use Oracle JDK 17.
There is an <Ok> at the bottom but I cannot click on it or interact with it at all.
Any and all help is much appreciated.

The Tab key usually switches attention to & from the OK key & then just the Enter key..

it's usually an Screen Capture Issue.
and you do need to get Terminal to recognise that.

you should try with both the Mouse & with an Keyboard Tab-ing
to see which will get the attention of the OK button.
- sometimes you do have to scroll, manually, through their Licence Agreement,
in order to that OK button, to work, correctly.
