AGAIN Software Manager constant error

Hi All:

I had trouble using the Software Manager in two LM20 installs. Following xenopeek's advice, (in viewtopic.php?p=2086253#p2086253), full functionality was restored. But tonight, one of the machines messed up again. This time I had to use xenopeek's second set of insturctions....I was able to install more software but when I tried to download Gimp I got a new error accompanied by:
This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable. Furthermore there could be a conflict between software packages which are not allowed to be installed at the same time.
I have can find no reference to "packages which are not allowed" in "Software Sources"

Thing is I don't remember doing that- but I have been working with so many installs.. I might have, but I don't think so. Is there a command I can run to check, or a list I can compare to? (LM20)
