When you expand a directory in "List View" using NEMO it briefly shows that it is loading the contents of the directory.
The word "Loading" can be seen when you expand a directory.
What causes this to happen? I have not noticed this on mint 19.X

Re: Question about NEMO file manager on 20.X
It needs to load the directory contents when you expand a subdirectory in list view. That will be no different from 19.x. Maybe the newer version is nicer in that it shows you what it is doing while it is doing it?

I don't think the newer version is nicer. I don't need to know that a directory that contains a single file is loading. I preferred the older version.
