loginctl lock-session command fails after updating to LM 20.2 Cinnamon

Post by rvc2018 »

Hello, I am using KDE connect to lock (shutdown, restart, etc) my pc with my phone. After updating from 20.1 to 20.2 I noticed

Code: Select all

loginctl lock-session
, isn't working. I tried running it from the terminal, and it does nothing, echo $? returns a value of 0 but the screen is still not locked. I tried loginctl lock-session c1 and still nothing. My workaround is cinnamon-screensaver-command --lock which does work. Also, I can unlock the screen with loginctl unlock-session from my phone.
Can someone replicate it at their end and see if it's a bug, or I have some issue on my machine? Thanks.
