As far as I can find, AVS Video Editor is only available for Windows.

Re: Where to download AVS Video Editor AppImage
I believe Larry is right: AVS Video Editor is a Windows-only software app.
Possible alternatives for Linux systems are Avidemux - which I use, and which is available as an AppImage; or OpenShot - available via the Mint Software Manager. There is also a video editor called ShotCut, which I haven't tried....

Re: Where to download AVS Video Editor AppImage
I bet you picked the wrong one!
When I tried to reinstall OpenShot, I found there are three on the list (see attached image). The one did not work is the second one listed as "OpenShot Video Editor". Then I tried the first one on the list as "Openshot-qt" - as soon as I tried that, it worked like a charm! That is why I know I picked the wrong one in the first place. I think you might have the same problem. Try to remove "OpenShot Video Editor" and install "Openshot-qt" and you will know the difference!

Re: Where to download AVS Video Editor AppImage
I found both openshot and openshot-qt worked OK. The problem I have with both is the theme which pretty well blanks out some of the buttons. There are only 3 choices of theme under preferences, and they all produce the same issue.
As you can see all the buttons to the right of green triangle (add marker) are barely visible, likewise the controls under the preview window. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Openshot, but it makes no difference.

Re: Where to download AVS Video Editor AppImage
I am almost certain at one time there was an AppImage for AVS Video Editor - it was available on the long dead bintray AppImage repository. I considered it to be little more than a curiosity and a Proof of Concept project - the AppImage included the Wine layer plus the Windows executable. It worked, but much better options were available.
