When I use Update Manager and as it's updating click on details, I find the font really small. Too small for me.
Is there a way to make it larger?
I know it is, as I've seen some screenshots here and there, granted the user may be using a 1024x768 screen or lower.

Re: updateManager terminal window font too small
This question was asked before many times, and we investigated quite a bit, and as far as we know it's a "built-in" setting that cannot be changed. I remember there were even some issues open about this on Mint's Github page.

Re: updateManager terminal window font too small
Thanks, I was almost sure that was it.
Someone pointed me to the qt5settings program and there is a 'terminal font' setting in there but that didn't do any good.

To get normal update log window just use terminal:
Code: Select all
apt update
apt list --upgradable
sudo apt full-upgrade

As a work around, you might try the desktop environment built in zoom feature. I am not sure which DE you use, but with XFCE you can do a ALT two finger touch pad to temporarily zoom in or out. The two finger touch pad is like a mouse scroll wheel.
I hope this help.
