Chromium based browsers forbid users to choose delete some search engines (crap Microsoft Bing included).
https://www.pcmag.com/news/chromium-bas ... ch-engines
As a USER, when I install a browser I do select my default search engine (usually Duckduckgo) and delete all other. Unfortunately that is no longer possible due to Chromium based browsers (Chromium, Edge, Opera, etc).
Why I have this feeling crap Microsoft recent adoption of Chromium as the engine under Microsoft edge has something to do with this change?
If that is the case than I am worried other user restrictions are on the way as crap Microsoft is getting so "friend" of Linux Kernel
Any way around this user freedom restriction?

Re: Browser force user to use some Search Engines
If you want to stick with Chromium based browsers, Vivaldi still lets you delete search engines.
Vivaldi 2549.3 . . . retains option to delete search engines
