Oddly, Chromium is only recognising jpeg image files ending in .jpg or .jpeg as being uploadable, unless I select "all files" in the open file dialogue, then I can select images ending in .JPG (which is the default naming convention which one of my camera uses) to upload to Facebook etc.

Firefox on the other hand sees jpeg files ending in .jpg .jpeg or .JPG without any issues.

So I'm thinking that this is some sort of a file association issue?

One solution would be to go through all my file, and rename images ending in .JPG to .jpg, however the better solution would be to get the file associations sorted, so that Chromium recognises .JPG as being a valid file to upload.

Thoughts? Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't use Chromium, but are there any other options under the "Customised Files" button in the lower-right of the Open Files dialog?

Thanks for the reply. I can select "all files" on the chromium open file dialogue, which then lets me see all the files including the jpg files which end in .JPG

On Firefox the default on the open file dialogue is " Image Files" when you go to upload images to the likes of Facebook etc, which is the expected action.
