It's working, but it is so sloooooooooooow.
Software sources set to UK mirrors, download speed typically around 2.5MB/s.
Start the upgrade (LM20.1 to LM20.3), update manager insists on switching the mirror to Linux Mint (US). D/L speed 35kB/s. It will take hours! Tried three times before I figured out what the problem was (couple of weeks back LM20.2 to LM20.3 took maybe a minute on another laptop).
Is there a problem?

Re: Given up on LM20.3 upgrade
the Updates are slow, slow, slower than Molasses in January.
sometimes they are running at normal speeds,
I have changed to different sources, and some of those are not responding, so I went back to Default Settings and just let it run in the background, went to Breakfast, and it finished while I was gone.
once installed, LM20.3 Cinnamon is faster than 19.3 and I like it, even though I swore I would never, ever, leave 19.3
all of that being said, when I first downloaded the ISO, and installed it, it was really fast...
don't know what has changed?

I just posted on the Blog about that, you might chime in also?
Re: Given up on LM20.3 upgrade
I received notification of a Firefox update today. The download was quite slow. I figured it was just so many people downloading it at the same time. (That happened on a prior FF update.) You may have been caught up with that download crush.

I can confirm similar slowness via the latest Firefox update from packages.linuxmint.com. My suspicion would be that the server is getting hit hard with the new Firefox updates, as well as the ongoing 20.3 installs and upgrades.AndyMH wrote: Is there a problem?
