on kernel update - 'the initramfs will attempt....'

Post by steve51 »

SYstem is running fine ....
but during kernel updates, clicking on the 'details' tab I get a glimpse of the running update. I've seen this message " I: The initramfs will attempt to resume from /dev/sda1". I'm concerned that something is not set correctly.
First is there a way to capture this information that flashes past in the update 'details window' and second is this something to worry about.
It seems that initramfs is a boot up operation dedicated to the kernel?

Thanks
Steve

Here's my system info for ref:-
