How do I make nemo sort naturally?
Why nemo? I've been using nemo for a long time because of the exact reasons why nemo is suggested on their site: it has features that [typo fix] nautilus lacks or removed, and doesn't crash as often. I don't like thunar or dolphin for the same reasons. I'm a power user.
As far as I can tell, everyone else who has problems with sorting asks how to sort ASCII. Well, in my case it suddenly* started sorting ASCII instead of naturally. (* after I abandoned Ubuntu 18.04 and installed Mint 20.04)
What I tried:
LC_ALL=C ls # ls sorts ASCII
LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 ls # ls sorts naturally
LC_ALL=C nemo # nemo sorts ASCII
LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 nemo # nemo still sorts ASCII
$ nemo --version
nemo 5.2.4
