xdg-mime and it's install command. Is there another way? Doing that would be I would have to track down the XML file Mint uses for Python, and associate an icon for the file. So far, I haven't been able to track down the XML.Thanks.

Hi all. I'm wondering if it's possible to change the file type description shown in the file manager for a specific file? I have a Python script that is being shown as a "Qt markup" type. I'm aware of
