I'm running Thunderbird 78.14 64bit in LM20.3
It used to be that I could right-click an address in an email and have the option to copy the address to the address book. Not any more. I can copy the name/address or just the address, then I have to manually open the address book in order to add it.
Has thunderbird changed since the good old days? Or is there some problem with my setup?
Thanks

Have you tried to update to the current ver. of TB? My ver. is 91.9.1.
Re: lm 20.3 cinn. Thunderbird no option to save addrfess
I quit upgrading TB because every new upgrade seemed to violate the precept "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." The function existed in previous versions. Then it disappeared. I upgraded. Now it exists again. Problem solved. Is this a fix? Because now I wonder what new wrenches have been dropped into the machinery. (Never mind. Allow me to rant, please.)
Thanks for t he help, folks.

Me too.
The opposite to your precept is "Don't update until it is broken". (Or should I say ... before it is broken ?) The problem with this is, that you collect very many security leaks. And that can lead to far more problematic consequences, than you might imagine.
