Is there something simple I'm missing or misunderstanding here that I should be doing or should not be doing?

Also I couldn't help but notice when I look in gnome-disks ( aka just simply searching Disks in cinnamon menu and selecting the 2nd option that literally says " Disks") that it shows nothing on the drive in Disks after the writing of that iso via the usb image writer is successfully done. Is this normal and I just never noticed before when prepping a Foxclone bootable usb thumb drive?
I recall older versions working just fine for me so I'm not sure what I am missing here. I just "wrote" the versions 44-05 to it and unlike the 50 versions...it shows " bootable" when I view the thumb drive in "Disks".
If all else fails, It's not a dealbreaker for me to go back to using an older 40's version of Foxclone, but I'd like to use the latest. Ideas anyone?
