My camera input flickers after 1-2 minutes on Zoom calls

Post by dpvtank »

Hi folks,

I've done a search on this repeatedly, but haven't found an answer.

Basically, on Zoom calls, after 1-2 minutes of joining a call, my camera input starts flickering terribly. I can see my video on these calls start to flicker, and others also tell me that my camera is flickering like crazy.

Strangely, this does NOT happen with Microsoft Teams calls. This only happens on Zoom.

I have already checked to see if Hardware Acceleration is on. It is.

I migrated to Linux Mint from MX Linux, where this issue did not happen. So I am unsure what might be happening here. I'm very happy with Mint, but with the exception of Zoom, I have no idea what might be happening.

I am on the most up to date version of Zoom of course (Version: 5.11.3 (3882) as of this posting).

Details about my computer:
