Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra mobile and PC running Linux Mint 20.3.
On connecting with USB cable I get a message on the phone "Allow access to phone data? Deny/Allow"
selecting "Allow" I see a SAMSUNG Android icon on the PC Desktop screen together with a message:
"Could not display "mtp://SAMSUNG_SAMSUNG_Android_R3CN80MR7ZL/"
Error: no such interface "org.gtk.vfs.Mount" on object at path /org/gtk/vfs/-mount/1
Please select another viewer and try again"
By double clicking the Android icon I can nevertheless see the contents of the phone, for example, the photos in Internal Storage/DCIM/Camera
But if I try to copy anything I get the message:
"Error getting file list: Can't get data from remote machine (application/octet-stream not provided))"
What should I do to transfer files from the mobile to my PC?
How to transfer files from Samsung mobile to Mint 20.3?

There are 2 more options:
Bluetooth
Warpinator (needs to be installed on the phone).

Your other option is KDE connect, also install both ends, worked for me yesterday when warpinator wouldn't. There is also GSConnect, which is the gnome version, never tried it.
Thinkcentre M720Q - LM21.3 cinnamon, 4 x T430 - LM21.3 cinnamon, Homebrew desktop i5-8400+GTX1080 Cinnamon 19.0

Many thanks.
Warpinator (flatpak) 1.2.12 on the PC and Warpinator (Android) on the phone works fine
