managing websites settings in firefox

Post by charroo »

when i'm using firefox i want it to save my Tutanota login details and settings but the problem is that it is not cookies being used with tutanota.

when i delete my history everything gets deleted and i need to re login and re configure it.

is there a way to control which websites are allowed to save site settings and manage it?

This setting is about deletion at shutting down. If you delete by command, FF honors your wish.

mm
not sure i understand.

is there a way to clear all history etc.. but just leave the tutanota alone?

the way you described earlier should do that?

so confusing....

i'm also using a cooke manager extension but unfortunately the tutanota credentials are not saved as cookies as far as i know

hi charroo. It seems to me people use Tutanota mail because it's one of the privacy safest, when used with other tuta mail accounts.
So i don't understand why you want FF to keep your login?! One should use a pw manager like KeepassXC. And you can make a bookmark for Tuta that will stay whenever you shut the browser.
But isn't necessary since the bookmark can be stored in KeepassXC too.
If you are concerned about your privacy let me know since there is A LOT MORE TO IT then just using FF out of the box.
