Nordvpn / Internet access requires two times computer start

Post by theheerenhouse »

About two weeks ago I signed up for Nordvpn

I am not very software savvy and tried to install the network manager following these written instructions;
https://support.nordvpn.com/Connectivit ... anager.htm
Did step 1 and 2 but at step 3 I was not able to generate the screen as shown and was stuck.

I discovered that it is quite easy to use the terminal and forgot about the manager.
Nordvpn works as it is suppose to work and I forgot about the halfway installation of the network manager.

However, since then I have the problem that when I start the computer I do not have an internet connection. The only way to get connected is to start the computer again. A second start never failed to make the internet connection and no problems during the day. Only after a shutdown and most of the time, but not always.

I do not understand this strange problem and I do not know if the Nordvpn download network manager is connected, but it started as of that moment.

Any advice is highly appreciated.
Its a nuisance but no urgency.

Thank you very much for giving this your attention.

Paulus
