does anyone know how to get touchegg working?

Post by NewLinuxMintUser1 »

installing touchegg and touche both from the app store and offical way didn't work. None of the gestures I tried did anything. Even using the touchegg command and restarting didn't work.

This is regarding touchegg:
The last review from 1 year ago agrees with you:
Does not work (Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon)
https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/touchegg

The website suggests it is still being maintained:
https://github.com/JoseExposito/touchegg

But the Issue page lists items 1 year old:
https://github.com/JoseExposito/touchegg/issues

They might want to hear about your issue.

Follow the instructions here. I had to reboot to get it to work. Also added Chrome and got swiping set up to go forware and backward for history,
