Always Open PDFs in External App in Firefox
Right now in Firefox, whenever I open a PDF, it always opens the PDF as a new tab. I'd like it instead to automatically open with my PDF viewer app (Document Viewer). How do I do this?

In Firefox: Open the settings, scroll to the list of applications, select PDF and choose your action.
Re: Always Open PDFs in External App in Firefox
"Use system default application" did this, yes. Thank you.
Follow up question: A lot of my files are PDFs that I have on Google Drive (from years ago). When I open those files, they first open in Google Drive as PDFs right away. I'd prefer, again, that those files could be opened *immediately* by the system default PDF app. Right now, I have to do two steps, but I'd prefer one. The 2 steps right now are: 1) Open as a new tab in Google Drive as a PDF. 2) Then, when I hit Print or Save, the System App actually opens the PDF.
This happens whether I "Use system default application" or "Save file" in Firefox's settings.
How do I immediately open the file with the system default app?
(I realize this is more of a Google Drive or Firefox question than maybe a Linux Mint one, but thought one of you might be able to tell me the answer very easily.)
Thanks in advance.

Anyone Else?

I don't use it either. However, with some search I found this:
How do I change my default PDF viewer in Google Drive?
Go to Settings. Go to Apps. Select the other PDF app, that always open up automatically. Scroll down to "Launch By Default" or "Open by default".
