Thunderbird & Firefox print A6 instead of A4

Linux mint 20 on Lenovo Yoga.
Both Thunderbird and Firefox print/safe fine to PDF. Then printing from PDF is fine as well.
But printing from TB & Firefox with all printer settings unchanged, ie set to A4, porttait, and either "fit to page" or "at scale 100%" result in a print out of A6 size in the upper left quarter of a A4 sheet only, ie hard to read without magnifying lens.
Linux was installed about a year ago and everything was fine until probably 2-4 weeks ago.
Any ideas what is the reason for this?

Do you get this problem already in the print preview or only when you physically print?

The print preview looks ok as well.

Perhaps English is your first language, but for me "pk" has no meaning.

Hi Cosmo, sorry, just noted that right now, the preview is as it should be in TB and Firefox.

This leads to the conclusion, that the problem is in the hardware (less likely) or in the driver (more likely).

Anyway (although only a small chance):
Open Users & Groups and create a new account for testing. Reboot and log into the new account. How does it appear there?

Thanks for your help! Deleting and reinstalling the printer driver solved the problem!
