GIMP 2.10 - strange display bug (green smudge)

Hi forum,
Been getting this very odd display bug with GIMP 2.10.32 (flatpak version)

Any ideas how I might solve it?

I'd try a non-Flatpak version. Synaptic should offer something that works.. it does for me.

You are not the only one to have experienced something like this. Strange visual artifacts in many apps like gimp and libreoffice in Mint 21 Cinnamon.

I'm having this same problem with the apt version on Ubuntu. I used to have the snap package, but I uninstalled it because I wanted plugins. I didn't have this problem on the snap.
