After Upgrade 19.3 to 20 Firefox & Thunderbird can't access home dir

Hi everyone,
last weekend i finally upgraded Mint 19.3 to 20. Everything went smooth, just Firefox and Thunderbird show a strange behavior.
So, if i want to download a file to a specific directory or attach a file to a new mail in thunderbird, both programs can just access to /home/username/Downloads
There is no way to access to the pictures or documents folder.

Firefox version is 107.0
Thunderbird is 102.4.2
My system is running 64 bit.

           Distro: Linux Mint 20 Ulyana 

User permissions of /home/username/Downloads and /home/username/Pictures (Bilder in german) are exactly the same:

Any idea, how to fix this?

Try

chmod -R 765 Downloads

ditto with pictures directory.

Hi,
didn't change anything. I can still save a file to the Downloads directory, but not to Pictures.
Also resetting Firefox via "Clean up" on the about:support page didn't solve the problem.
