Hi,
I have a logitech mouse connected to the PC via Bolt USB (dongle included in the mouse) and I installed Solaar application to detect the Bolt USB and the mouse. All is detected, but the backward/forward button is not working at all.
I chose Solaar instead of logiopts because I was reading Bolt USB is not integrated in the application.
Has anyone connected that mouse to Linux Mint with secondary buttons working?
Thanks

Re: Mouse Logitech MX 3S with LM 20.1
I don't have exactly MX 3S, but all the ones I use - M500s, MX610, Performance MX, M705 are with working back/forward buttons.
You can try scanning the button code with and then map it with xbindkeys to XF86Back/XF86Forward actions

Code: Select all

Thank you for the xev idea, I will look on it deeply.

I have been testing with xev | grep button command and LM is not detecting Logitech MX Master 3S thumb buttons. Pressing then doesn't show anything with the command, instead the other mouse buttons which are shown.
I have been installing any mouse and logi driver that I found without any luck.
