Can I change my lock screen background?

Post by Domojestic »

Basically, when my computer locks the screen, it shows my own Desktop background, where I'd really prefer it to show my login background. The same goes for when I bring it out of suspension (similar to Windows). Is this possible?

Here's my system info:

I can set custom "background picture for lock screen" in Mate desktop. But no, I don't see the same choice in Cinnamon, nor in XScreenSaver.
