I was wondering if, on a Mint 21.1, is there is a PPA, or Appimage library, to safely access and install KDE Applications? Eg. Those not offered in the Mint/Ubuntu App. Repository?
Also, it would be nice to have access to more current versions of the apps. Many in the Mint app archive are from Dec. 2021.
Thanks

Flatpak would be the way to go for both of those.

Mint 21 is based on Ubuntu 22.04 so whatever version of KDE software that was present when Ubuntu 22.04 was released is most likely the one in Mint's repositories. Flatpak or appimage may be the way to go. I don't care of snaps but that's just me. I find that the some of the newer versions of KDE apps are present in the software center also as flatpacs.
If you need newer packages KDE Neon my be your best bet.
Good Luck.
