Firefox starts off-screen, if I move it on screen, blank window
I rebooted and the install finished!
All is well. But WHY, did I have to reboot.

To replace files that were in use.But WHY, did I have to reboot.

NOT rhetorical. Usually on both windows and Linux, When I restart FF, it will install the new version then bring up FF. Which is what it did after the restart. I've never had to restart to upgrade FF before. I think something flacky was going on. I was having trouble with keys not responding at times too.
