<SOLVED> How to add application to launcher menu

I've downloaded Rawtherapee and can execute it from the file browser. I'd like to have an entry for it in the application launcher. Is there a way to do this?

If you're using standard edition look into alacarte, aka "main menu" in your preferences folder, to manually add applications.
