Increase bitrate in k3b ripping...?[SOLVED]

Post by sdim »

Hi,everyone.
I use k3b to rip cd's and it works fine.
I can't seem to be able to rip at a higher bitrate than 128 in mp3 format, though.
Is there something that I have to customize?
Many thanks.

Just found the answer here:http://forum.sabayon.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=20075
It says that you have to insert -b 192 or whatever other bitrate you want, just before the -h in the list of options for lame mp3.
So,it has to look like this:

Code: Select all

lame -r --bitwidth 16 --little-endian -s 44.1 -b 192 -h --tt %t --ta %a --tl %m --ty %y --tc %c - %f
