Pidgin doesn't connect to GTalk

Postby manishk » Sat Sep 15, 2007 2:02 pm

When I try to connect to GTalk I get an error that says :

http tunnelling on port port 5222 is not allowed.

Whats wrong??

I use my university network to connect to the internet, so I'm behind a proxy.

The admins of that network does not like that kind of connection.
It's very likely that it's blocked in the firewall/proxy
