Java Web Starter

Post by andrewgen »

I recently installed Linux Mint 9 and am having problems with an application that requires Java Web Starter. I was able to find and install it on my computer running Ubuntu 10.01, but can't seem to locate Java Web Starter or make it work on my Linux Mint 9 system.

I tried the Java site but couldn't get it to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Andrew

Check your sources.

Reply in the Code button.

This type of problem occured frequently with Lindows/Linspire because of running
apt package manager olongside click and run.

PC-BSD has solved this.

OK, this makes little sense to me as a newbie. (I did check your link, but I didn't get much from it).
Perhaps someone can elaborate a bit further so I can resolve the problem.

Thank you
