how to use vim?

Recentlt,I have installed the vim ,but which puzzle me is how to use vim? what is worse , I even don't how to open vim ,could some help me?Thank you!!

I'd also recommend you learn to use Nano. It's installed by default if I remember correctly.

Open a terminal and run "nano" command. If you just want to quickly edit and alter text files, nano is easier. But, I prefer VIM myself.
