getting my music

1.Is there any peer to peer programs for linux i have been using limewire on windows not sure if it works with linux but it is shut down now, so i want the linux alternative.

2.once i get my music how can i get it on to my ipod. i have heard about quite a few programs but i am not sure what to use.

For this you can use Banshee, Amarok or gtkpod. Banshee and Amarok are full music management applications that work with the iPod (much like iTunes), whereas gtkpod is a simpler application used only to sync with the iPod.

Frostwire OK,In the Repos :)
Rhythmbox Works best with I-Pods,Just set it up on a Windows or Mac :shock:
You can Sync your music and drop and drag other stuff

I tried Rythmbox for the first time yesterday, and so far I really love it.
I don't know much about it yet, Haven't tried many of the features, but its great for finding new Music.
Wishing there really was a Linux guide for the thick and stupid, so I could be reading it right now.
