Daryna Studio ?

Postby solar1951 » Sun Nov 04, 2007 7:48 am

Hi, As Ubuntu Gutsy has the ability to "change" into Ubuntu Studio by downloading a few packages from the repos will I be able to create a Mint Daryna Studio when it is released ?

Now that would be cool !

You could not do so the same way you can with Ubuntu but you could install the same multimedia packages and make your own Daryna Studio.

Hi Agust,
Thanks for the link but there are no details about what is contained in "Linux Multimedia Studio" - Sure I can download the individual packages but the main point is the integration of the different audio functions so that, for instance, Jack works properly.
Ubuntu studio apparently does this.
