Change mint menu's default file manager

Post by phutres »

It's set to thunar now, how do I change it to use nautiuls to open home folder link?
Phenom II x4 955 black edition, geforce 560ti, 16gb ddr3 1600.
Mint 17 64 MATE using mint-meta-xfce desktop
LMDE VM for work because it's portable
old Mint 13 on spare partition(xfce default)

I guess you are using XFCE if thunar is set as default. Correct me if I am wrong.
However, in order to change it click menu > Settings > Settings Manager > Preferred Applications > Utilities and where it says thunar click on it and press other. In the window that will popup write:

Code: Select all

nautilus
Clearly I give as implicit that you already have it installed. Then you can remove thunar if you want.
