I use frequently LibreOffice. I just purchased a font-family of which I'm quite fond : Futura LT
The files in question are .ttf files (there are 20 of them), and are situated in ~/.fonts. I can visualise them using FontManager.
Now enters LibreOffice...
1.- when trying to access these fonts by the "usual" dropbox from the menu, I get only *one* font : Futura LT. I can get a "bold" version, a "italic" version, and an "unterlined" version. That's it.
2.- when trying using Styles, it gets better : of my 20 fonts, I can get 16. But only 16...
If anyone has an explanation, even a partial one, I'd be delighted !

Re: LibreOffice 3.3.3 : fonts problem
So, you have the regular, bold, italic and underlined (that is 4) fonts directly and 16 through styles. Doesn't that make 20 total?
Re: LibreOffice 3.3.3 : fonts problem
Not exactly. This would be much too easy. I miss, for instance Futura LT ExtraBold.
Now I have loaded the .otf version of the same fonts, and this time it works like a charm...
So problem solved, but I still would like to understand...
