Software Manager not opening

Bit strange this, when I open the software manager nothing seems to happen, it doesn't load up. Similar thing with Synaptic, that asks for a password then looks like it's going to load but just disappears.

I know the fix will be simple, any help please.

Have you tried rebooting?

Else, consider doing the following on the terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update

If no errors show:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get upgrade

And try again. Share any errors here.
