Help with Nicotine

I am having trouble with the program nicotine, it stopped working and then I uninstalled it and then installed it again and the program wouldn't start, I repeated this process a few times and it still didn't work. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make it work, or if you don't know can you direct me to someone that could help? Thanks!

BTW, try to run the nicotine in terminal so any output could appear and then that output copy/past here.

Hi, do you mean the SoulSeek client called Nicotine? And what version of Linux Mint are you using?

I'd suggest you open a terminal and run it from there (probably just type nicotine to start), that way you can see any errors it is spewing.
