Filezilla crashes [SOLVED]

anyone else have this problem?

I have installed Filezilla on Lisa, but as soon as I drag a file from my computer to the webspace, the program disappears

I have removed Filezilla and re-installed it - same behaviour

help and advice needed please...

I had the same problem...the problem is the wxwidgets not being up to date! Here's the fix that worked for me: http://wiki.wxpython.org/InstallingOnUbuntuOrDebian
It doesn't seem to have a specific version for Oneiric/Mint12 yet, so I used the Natty one...hope this helps.

thanks so much - forum contributors to the rescue once again,

the link provides very straightforward instructions - it is fascinating to watch the installation text flowing into the terminal window, I am even beginning to recognise and understand something of what is going on! - and Filezilla is now functioning
