My question, can I change menu-items.
At this moment, when I installed Thunderbird, it was put under the sub-menu "Internet".
I like to move it to "Office".
Is there anyone who has done this before. Is it generally possible.

Re: Changing menu-items
With Mint LXDE, simply edit the applications .desktop file in /usr/share/applications. To accomplish the end you want for thunderbird, change categories=Network to categories=Office. You will have to do this as root . This is most easily done with pcmanfm and LXDE by invoking the Open Current Folder as Root from Tools .
Re: Changing menu-items
If you don't have it, install "alacarte".
It will be installed as "Main Menu" under Other.
Open that, go to Applications>Office>New Item>Name>type in Thunderbird>command>type in thunderbird>ok
That will place Thunderbird into your Office section.
Now click on Internet under Applications>uncheck the box next to Thunderbird.
You should now have Thunderbird under Office and not under Internet.
