Now i am installed mint lisa,, and also facing some problems with the graphics issue.
some times display blinking and forming multi colors... Is there any correction needed or any updates.
Any one pls help me.. bcoz i <3 mint

i notice on mine that there is, just before the desktop comes in, there is a blink of multi-colour, not sure but maybe graphics sorting itself out as the desktop loads (doesn't affect anything, desktop always loads) or some such thing

It seems that there are really some issues with proprietary drivers (mainly ATI, but also NVIDIA on some desktops). The problem is supposed to be in GNOME not in Mint. On my laptotp (HP Compaq 8310w, Dual Core 2, 4 GB RAM, ATI-Radeon 2600) I used fglrx driver from ATI, but downloaded from their site not from mint repos. However, I returned to Mint 11, and I will wait until many problems of Gnome 3, Gnome Shell, graphics drivers will be resolved.
