if you mean revert your Minty google search in the FF toolbar
to the normal google search
the info you need is here: http://www.linuxmint.com/blog/?p=142

but, if you like using mint and would like to see mint grow,
I would say give the mint search a chance :D
Clem explains this in the above link.

How dare mint put this plug-in by default on MY FRIKKEN BOX
this kind of crap flies in the face of all that is great about linux. We are people that are independent, not prone to following the crowd
Every geek I know has scripts running so there are absolutely no google ads defacing his/her browser
I expect **** like this from microsoft and greedy ass corporate entity's.
If you want to make money, and there is certainly nothing wrong with that, just sell your distro,ok. but don't pass yourself off as being part of the Ubuntu (we are the world tribe). Also change your motto "from freedom came corporate ads"

Dude, chill. The developers don't want to have to sell this fine product. Money is needed however. Funding helps to support this fine product and helps to make it better so that we the users can have a better user experience.
