Broken Software Manager
I am using Linux Mint 11 main edition (gnome 2) and I think I somehow broke my software manager. I was trying to install the latest version of Libreoffice manually and I think I unistalled something I shouldn't have or something because now that I go into my software manager it says only 1971 packages currently available. Most of them are already installed packages only like 3 or 4 aren't (skype, google earth, world of goo demo, and just a few more). Is there a way to fix?

Re: Broken Software Manager
hi reoh34, do you get the same with both Software Manager and Synaptic Package Manager? You might look at your Software Sources list (from Administration Menu in Mint 11) and see which boxes are ticked.

Re: Broken Software Manager
Still need help on this. Yes I am pretty much having the same problem with synaptic package manager and software sources. I have everything checked under software sources from main packages to unstable packages. The only updates I get are from third party sources like Opera Browser.
