Mint 14 Debian loaded Nvidia drivers compiled Blender 2.66
Thanks Mint 14 team for the new debian version. I was able to load the NVIDIA drivers by following the forums nvidia guide.And was able to compile Blender 2.66 with the help of http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:2 ... nder/Linux using the scons build route. Just to let the 3D animators out there know. Thanks again Mint team.

I know Mint 14 is Ubuntu and 201303 is the Debian version. I was referring to the 201303 Debian version. With the updated repos this version sings compared to the outdated Deb OS.I even added the experimental package repo ; but all the installed packages came out of the testing repo with what I could follow in the terminal.
