[SOLVED] Acer Extensa 5220 laptop ZSNES sound problem solved

Postby RytronII » Mon Oct 13, 2008 3:09 pm

Hi,
I use this fix to solve my desktop Ubuntu ZSNES no sound problem:
zsnes -ad sdl

I used the above fix to get my sound working on my Acer Extensa 5220 laptop but the sound is not great.
Has anyone another sound fix command?
Thanks.

This is a very specific question...
I can only give you a link to the ZSNES forum
http://www.zsnes.com/index.php?page=discussion
Oh - in which version of Ubuntu did you use that?
Sound has changed a lot between Daryna/Gutsy and Elyssa/Hardy - pulse audio is introduced

Hi,
I used that command in Ubuntu 8.04.
I solved the problem.
I set the sound sampling rate @ 48000HZ in ZSNES. I used this in conjunction with the command.
Cheers.
