[Solved] finding a live flash video to test my system

Post by buteman »

Hi all,
I am trying to set up a Mint 17 cinnamon system to view live flash video but i have been told Linux will not do this now whereas older versions did.
Can someone tell me where there are live flash streams so I can check myself if one is viewable?

Are youtube videos not what you are looking for?

Exactly. Search YouTube for HD test videos and you'll find some up to 1440p and higher.

Thanks, guys for your thoughts.
I have said that to the person who told me I wouldn't be able to view the ones which were being transmitted live rather than recorded ones from linux. I cannot see why but then I'm not into media that much. So if something is being transmitted live such as some seminar or workshop I could simply try to watch it.
Update
Found creativelive which is a 24 hour service and it works fine.
