DVD codec doesn't work after suspend.

Postby Winchester » Mon Apr 20, 2009 10:49 am

Hi,
for some reason after I suspend my computer and go back to watching a DVD after a few seconds a message comes up asking me if the driver/codec is installed or not... anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Did your already check the forum before posting by typing "suspend" in the upper right corner of your page in the search box???

Or here??? http://forums.linuxmint.com/search.php

There are quite a few posts on this already.

I didn't see anything that seemed relevant so I posted this. If the information is out there already could someone provide a link?

Ok, I found out that I if I remove the DVD and reinsert it it will work again. no solution other than that though.
