Hi, i'm newbie for using Linux Minth.
I'm using Minth KDE 6 Felicia and i have a question about the CD/DVD Room.

Before, in minth 5 i can burn an image CD/DVD, because the OS can detect the CD/DVD ROM drive from start up.
but why in minth 6 it does not happen. The CD/DVD was detected if I inserted the CD/DVD that not empty in Minth 6 KDE and i can oped the content like usual.

But the problem is when i want to burn an image CD/DVD and I insert the blank CD/DVD to the CD/DVD ROM drive, Minth 6 cant detect my CD/DVD Rom, and also the software K3B that I used for burn tools cant detect the CD/DVD ROM too.
Especially when i use software on wine like ISO software for burning and create ISO image, the software show Box Alert and said that cant find the CD/DVD Rom Drive.

Is it new features on Minth 6? and how can i solve my problem?

my spec is :
Asus CD/DVD-RW
P4 2.4 GHz
1 GB DDR

Is the problem that a blank CD/DVD is not detected while one with content is detected?
That points in my mind to bad disks
It's a known fact that various brands behave quite differently and this can be the case in the same brand as well...
